Well knock me on my ass then...

That's the best thing about being attracted to someone. The feeling that you've been knocked flat on your ass and you're not sure whether you should get back up. You might get yourself in trouble. *I always do* I really didn't know what today's post was going to be about. But I was surfing the interwebs and this is what came to mind. I blame Shonda Rhimes and I'll elaborate on that in a minute.

As nerve-wracking as it is I always -in retrospect- love that soul crushing nervousness that comes along with seeing someone you're attracted to. Understand that I'm not talking about the person maybe you've been watching for a while. I'm talking about that person who sneaks up on you. Why? Because you can't really do anything about it...you've been knocked on your ass.

This is why I blame Shonda. Have you watched this show? You should watch this show and then tell me you've never felt like that before. Also I ship Fitz and Livi really REALLY hard. It's wrong. Any person who can smoothly utter the line "Take off your clothes" as Tony Goldwyn does is beast in my book. And Kerry Washington...oh dear don't get me started. So tell me...who is your "Sweet Baby"?

Goodnight One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill ends tonight. It breaks my heart. I'm still going to finish my posts. We can just pretend like you haven't finished the season yet. Cool? I can't believe I've spent 9 years of my life watching this show. I grew up with these characters. I feel like I know them. I walk around quoting episodes. There's an OTH quote on my words to live your life by page. I'm a Tree Hill Lifer you know. This really does mark the end of a television era for people my age...or perhaps older. All of the shows that were on when One Tree Hill started are gone. Charmed. Gone. Veronica Mars. Gone. Smallville. Gone. Call me dramatic but I really feel like tonight marks the beginning of the end of my adolescent years. (So I'm 20. Don't judge me). I probably should go get my tissues out now. I feel as though this is going to be a very tough two hours for me. How do you feel?

I'm grateful for the things I learned watching this show. I know my mom thinks it's just teenage soapy madness but it was...is so much more than that. And if you are new to the fold I welcome you...and command you not watch tonight unless you're all caught up. It's official people. Dim the lights on the Rivercourt. It's time to say Goodnight

Swan Song

Oh dear goddess tomorrow is Wednesday. Do you know what that means? Well of course I have an RtR track to put up. I'm totally bummed that I missed the first one of the year. (Sorry!) But more importantly, One Tree Hill's FINAL season starts tomorrow. Seriously I don't think my heart can take it. What am I going to watch now?!? Besides Pretty Little Liars, Switched at Birth, Jane by Design (If it turns out not to be sucktastic...which it seems to be at this point) Covert Affairs, Grey's Anatomy...hmm perhaps I'll be okay. But I just don't believe it. I've been watching OTH for a good chunk of my life. I guess I'll just have to get a jump on my OTH DVD collection and hideout in my room and reminisce about the good old days of nights filled with One Tree Hill, Veronica Mars and Charmed. *sigh* So I have an idea. I've decided to do an OTH feature. 13 posts featuring my top 13 fave OTH characters and shining moments. I figure this way I'll be able to say goodbye slowly. I knew this day would come. I just wanted to get to you know like season 15 maybe. I'm kidding. I just have to get ready to say...Goodnight One Tree Hill.

P.S. Post will go up on Thursday as to not interfere with RTR Wednesday.
